Welcome to MulgaNet
MulgaNet is a network for information and resource sharing for individuals involved in all aspects of the provision of mental health care and prevention of mental health problems in rural Australia, including mental health professionals, GPs, nurses, allied health professionals, community workers, researchers, and those working closely with clinicians in rural communities.
MulgaNet is a place where you can find and share resources
In particular, you can:
- Browse a range of documents and links, and post resources in the Resource Library.
- Check out whats going on through the Events Calendar, and let others know about your course or event.
- Post details of your research initiative in the Research Directory, or browse the details of members' research projects.
- Connect with other members using MulgaBoard - an online bulletin board where you can join discussions with other members.
- List Employment opportunities in the rural mental health sector, or browse available positions.

MulgaNet is only as useful as its members! Once a member we encourage you to contribute your practical knowledge and experience with the network. 11th NSW Rural Mental Health Conference
The Conference Committee for the 11th NSW Rural Mental Health Conference warmly invite you to participate in our annual state Conference.
The Conference is an initiative of the Department of Health's Centre for Mental Health, the Centre for Rural and Remote Mental Health and the Greater Western Area Health Service. The theme for the 2006 Conference is 'Help Hope and Hype: Recreating Mental Health in the New Century.'
