| Wisdom from the Drought | Org: Centre for Rural and Remote Mental Health
|
In December 2003, the Centre for Rural and Remote Mental Health hosted a consultative conference which brought together drought support workers, rural support agencies and mental health services to discuss and respond to three key questions. These were: from the range of strategies that services were utilising to support the mental health and wellbeing of farmers and the rural communities, what strategies were working well, what would be done differently next time, and what strategies should be in place to ensure that effective service responses can be in place next time there is a drought. This report documents the conference and their responses. |
