Joining MulgaNet and your use of this website constitutes your agreement to the provisions of this notice.
(Members - these are the same terms of use you read and agreed to when you joined MulgaNet)

MulgaNet is based on a philosophy of mutual respect, support and trust and aims to promote cooperation, networking and information sharing between members of the mental health workforce in rural Australia.

In the spirit of this endeavor, the MulgaNet website provides a number of interactive services for members and visitors. There is a Resource Library, an interactive forum called MulgaBoard, a Members Directory, an Events Calendar, a Research Directory and Employment Directory. The continuing availability and success of these services depends on you. We ask that you demonstrate the utmost respect for the privacy and well-being of other users and members when using the services provided by MulgaNet. This includes, but is not limited to:

• Agreeing to use personal information posted on the MulgaNet site only for the purposes for which it was intended, and never to distribute, or cause to be distributed, the contents of web posts without the express consent of the postee.
• Agreeing under no circumstances will you provide any contact details as posted on this site to any advertisers or use them to send spam or computer viruses.
• Agreeing that you will not use the MulgaNet website as a forum to distribute material which is knowingly false and /or defamatory, inaccurate, abusive, vulgar, hateful, profane, harassing, sexually oriented, threatening, invasive of a persons privacy or otherwise violative of any law.
• Agreeing that you will not post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or you have permission from the copyright owner.
• Agreeing that you will not post identifying personal information of third parties without their consent.

Please be aware that whilst the Members Directory and MulgaBoard can only be read by MulgaNet members this still constitutes a wide audience. Posts on the Events Calendar and Employment Directory, and in the Research Directory and Resource Library will be publicly available. Do not include information in any post that you do not wish to be read by a wide audience.

The MulgaNet team reserves the right to delete any post for any reason whatsoever. You remain solely responsible for the content of your posts and you agree to indemnify and hold harmless MulgaNet with respect to any claim based upon transmission of your message(s). We reserve the right to not register a user as a member or to cancel a users registration as a member of MulgaNet.

MulgaNet also reserves the right to reveal your identity (or whatever information you provide) in the event of a complaint or legal action arising from any message posted by you. Please note that advertisements, chain letters, pyramid schemes and solicitations are inappropriate content for MulgaBoard or the Events Calendar.
